Early 19tb C secretaire in mahogany and mahogany veneer on oak base. Drop leaf compartment with seven interior drawers under arcades decorated with Egyptian busts, plus six small drawers on the sides, and green leather top with gilt edging. Several secret comptartments. The outer sides of the drop leaf are decorated with gilt wood. Large lower drawer above carved giltwood sphynx legs with a lower tier and mirror back. White marble top with grey veins surrounded by a gilt bronze gallery under a frieze drawer. Clover leaf key holes on outer drawers and drop leaf, rich gilt bronze decoration.
